Swedish Massage – The most common form of massage. Swedish mainly relaxes the muscles and eases aches and pain. More of a relaxation massage.
Craniosacal Therapy – The CS system consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the bones of the skull, face, and mouth down to the sacrum, or tailbone. Light touches assist the natural movement of the fluid within the CS system. Encourages the functioning of the central nervous system.
Deep Tissue – Techniques which utilize deep tissue / deep muscle massage are administered to affect the sub-layer of musculature and fascia. These techniques help with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation, and reduce inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendonitis.
Myofascial Release – The three-dimensional application of sustained pressure and movement onto the facial system in order to eliminate facial restrictions and facilitate the freedom of movement. An effective therapeutic approach in the relief of cervical pain, back pain, and headaches.
Position Release – Uses comfortable positional and gentle movements to ease the body into releasing tension and pain and to establish structural realignment.
Reiki – Combining universal energy with individual energy to open pathways of healing. This method involves placing the hands on the body to align chakras and bring healing energy to organs and glands.
Pregnancy Massage – Body pillows are used to comfortably position our pregnant clients on their side to allow for a truly relaxing massage experience.
Hot Stone Massage – Uses heated stones to stimulate the circulatory system. The technique provides a deeply relaxing, healing, detoxifying, and, some say, spiritual experience.
